The California-based chain just debuted its first-ever beauty product — a burrito-proof lip stain that’ll let you scarf down some barbacoa and look fancy doing it. In partnership with Wonderskin, a TikTok-famous lip stain that’s reportedly purchased every 15 seconds, Lipotle is a one-of-a-kind type of makeup. As with Wonderskin’s more traditional products, Lipotle starts as a bold masque, which is then wiped off. Here’s the Secret to Getting Bigger Portions at Chipotle Inspired by everyone’s favorite Chipotle add-on, guacamole, Lipotle’s lip stain masque applies like a lip gloss and has its own green, foil-inspired look. The masque sets for 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the user’s desire for bold results, and then is sprayed with Wonder Blading Activator to seal the pigments for up to 10 hours — that’s up to three meals or more. Following the activator, the verdant avocado-hued masque is easily wiped off, revealing a nude rose Lipotle color, a more natural beauty result primed for the Chipotle ordering line. “Lipotle is a sensory journey, like walking down the front line at Chipotle,” said Stephanie Perdue, vice president of brand marketing at Chipotle. “Fans will love the unique experience of applying the metallic green-colored masque, activating, peeling, revealing the beautiful burrito-proof tint, and finally taking a smudge-proof bite of their meal.” Mukbangs, the Internet tradition of eating on camera, launched in South Korea in the early 2010s. Now, the trend has taken over TikTok, with thousands of creators feasting on fast food, homemade meals, and everything in between for their eager viewers. Combined with the popular get ready with me videos, the Lipotle lip stain is primed to be an internet sensation. It’s also vegan. Sriracha, Egg and Avocado Burritos “We are thrilled to team up with Chipotle for our very first brand collaboration, unveiling a limited-edition shade of our viral Wonder Blading Lip Stain,” said Marina Kalenchyts, brand director of Wonderskin. “This partnership is a perfect blend of two trailblazing brands, both passionate about delivering top-notch, sought-after products as well as building loyal and robust communities. By merging Chipotle’s bold, flavorful essence with Wonderskin’s revolutionary beauty technology, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind experience and product that will captivate and delight our customers like never before.” Lipotle Wonder Blading Peel and Reveal Lip Stain Kit retails for $29 and will be available with free shipping on wonderskin.com starting Tuesday, July 30 at noon ET. In honor of National Avocado Day on Wednesday, July 31, Chipotle will also offer free guac all day, as a topping or a side with promo code AVO2024 on the Chipotle app. Was this page helpful?
